The OptiMate Solar DUO 80W Travel Kit (TM‑523‑8TK) is a high-performance, solar-powered battery charger and maintainer designed for 12 V lead‑acid batteries (STD, AGM, GEL) and 12.8 V LiFePO₄ (4‑cell) systems. Ideal for vehicles, RVs, boats, trailers, cabins, and off-grid setups, this travel kit offers reliable year-round battery care—no mains power required.

It combines a rugged 80 W polycrystalline solar panel with a smart, weatherproof controller. During daylight the panel delivers up to 6.67 A continuous charging current plus 3–5 A pulse bursts, reviving batteries even from 1 V. In low light or at night the controller switches to maintenance mode, automatically monitoring voltage every three seconds while consuming less than 0.5 mA standby current.

This kit uses a proven 6-stage solar charging sequence—Test, Save, Charge, Optimize, Maintain, Monitor—automatically adapting to battery type and condition while preventing overcharge. The controller is IP54-rated and fully sealed, suitable for outdoor use between –20 °C and +40 °C.
